Creating a new tool
Open your agent and open up the tool menu. E.g., “Tools & Abilities”, “Custom Tools”

Create a tool

Configure tool:
Obtain the following information from your Booker.com account:
Note: This would be found in an email from Booker.com when you set up your account with them. Email [email protected] if you need a copy.
Confirm the Tool Description and Arguments match.
Title / Tool Name: get_booker_availability (add a random number after this name so that it doesn’t cause duplication issues - e.g., ‘get_booker_availabilty_29481)
Example Tool Description:
Get available appointment slots for a specified calendar and date range. Call this tool when a user needs to see available booking times. The tool will return all available time slots grouped by date in the specified time zone. Before checking, always confirm the time against the system before making this call.
Optional: Based on how complex your setup is and how descriptive your calendar names are, you may wish to use one of the following. Consider using the method described in the Multi-calendar Flow to define which calendars to use.
Confirm Request URL set to POST: https://api.app-x.co/booker/bookingWindows
Note: Do not hit save NOR “Initialize” until all of the correct values are set. This may cause an issue with your voice provider and may timeout before you can update the values.
Save the tool
Make sure the tool is active or added to the agent.
